Testimonials About Dr Finch’s Teaching From Another Arabic Course

It was a pleasure to be part of Dr Finch's recent Arabic course. I have done a few in the past and felt this was distinguished by the attention given to bringing grammatical forms to life and making them more approachable. I appreciated the time taken to explain the meanings of different grammatical structures and putting them in context. I am hopeful it provided a strong foundation to build on Arabic reading and comprehension. Finally he facilitated an encouraging class environment where everyone was supported to progress together. I highly recommend the class!

“Dr. Abdul Latif’s Arabic morphology class was eye opening. Using Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse’s book, he focused on verbs in a way that built step by step, making learning natural and effective. Instead of memorising, we learned to break down words to their roots, which gave me the tools to truly understand and construct meaning in Arabic.”

— Adam

“Really appreciate his teaching style as he doesn’t just get you to memorise but explains the how, for me personally that sticks more. There was lots of revision and repeated examples which helped to remember without realising you are! this feels less forced and a more organic way of learning”
